A solo trip launching from the beach at Llandudno, around both little and great Orme headlands. Sp tides and very little wind gave ideal conditions for some 30km of paddling.
A shallow channel behind the stack on the Great Orme.
The sweeping limestone cliffs of Little Orme; climbers should note the vertical grass above the routes! Presumably there are reasonable anchors to lower off...
Despite being repeatedly 'buzzed' by jet skis off little Orme, deliberately cast at by fisherman off great Orme (in spite of the fact I had obviously and deliberately given a wide berth to their lines), a fantastic day exploring along the cliffs and playing in small waves off the head.
Returned to Llandudno against the tide using eddies close in and surfing small waves back in close to the pier.
