A View from the Fells

While much of the recent snow has been stripped from the fells following rapid thaws, the uplands remain frozen, the snow in most places well consolidated providing excellent walking and climbing conditions.

Some nice photos here - I particularly like the shot of Ill Gill. the combination of warm colour and the converging lines make for a striking picture
