Sgurr an Fheadain

At the head of Corrie na Creiche is one of the gems of the Cuillin. Distinct from the main ridge it is often overlooked, the approach being used more by those visiting the 'fairy pools' of the burn below, than climbers intent upon a day on the hill.
This is a shame; there is some superb, exposed scrambling here and on the easily accessed summits beyond.
An enjoyable, slightly more difficult, more exposed and avoidable climbing of aprox Vdiff standard overlooking Waterpipe Gully.
A natural staircase leading to the first of the three tops (if completing the main ridge south to north) of Bidein Druim nan Ramh, arguably the most complex, difficult and enjoyable of the Cuillin.
