Lleyn Peninsula: Porth Ysgaden - Porth Dinllean

After collecting my boat from Mike Webb's workshop, complete with electric pump and new footplate and a couple of other minor repairs (which once again were carried out at no cost), I met with Tim, Brian and Chris from the NWSK group to put on at Porth Ysgaden on the north coast of the Lleyn Peninsula.
The wind was mostly F4, occasionally F5, which made for a superb day's rock hopping...
Brian here getting close amongst the rocks...
...as Tim powers towards a narrow channel.
In the race off Trwyn Porth Dinllean with waves to around 4ft; Brian and Tim in the thick of things, trying to get a surf...
...and although the waves were very confused and difficult to catch, we did get a few good rides. (Difficult to get decent shots; being reluctant to risk the SLR, these were taken on the small Olympus mju.)
Once again I was inspired by the coast here, which made a refreshing change from the usual destinations on Anglesey, and resolved (again) to visit this varied and beautiful peninsula more often.
