NWSK End of Season Meet

With the SLR still away for repairs, and with my mind on other things, for the first time in a long while, I took no pictures of the first day's paddling. In fact there would have been some great shots to be had amongst the surf of Treadurr Bay.
The light on the second day of the meet was to good to pass by however; the following images taken on the Olympus mju, now very much past its best.
Brian in the calm of the Menai Strait soon after launching...
...and heading north...
...towards Penmon...
...and Puffin Island.
Well camouflaged Grey seals crowded the craggy shore...
...following us out into the choppy waters off the north end of the island.
Leaving the seals behind, the skies darken but the rain is a long way off...
...a striking rainbow forming and shifting constantly as we paddle back towards Penmon...
...leaving Puffin Island behind...
...to land on the steep gravel beaches opposite.
A last view of the beacon before heading back to end a short but varied and spectacular little paddle.
