Hebridean Highlights

Following two weeks of some of the best sea kayaking I have been fortunate enough to experience, I have literally hundreds of photos to sort out.
As that will probably take me another couple of weeks, here are a few of the highlights from the Outer Hebrides.
Breathtaking beaches on Harris.

A lively sea off the west coast of Lewis.
Beach games: bowls, played with fishing floats, for several km's, along a beautiful beach on North Uist.
Beneath the hills of South Uist on the east coast.
Camp fire on the penultimate evening of a 4 day trip from Lochboisdale to Lochmaddy.
Close encounters with the Atlantic swell off the north west coast of Lewis.
Otters, seen most often on the east of South Uist.
Swell breaks over a reef in Loch Roag, Lewis.
Seal watching whilst crossing the Sound of Harris.
A perfect Lewis beach; does it get any better?
Atlantic sunset, west coast of Lewis.
Steep scrambling on a rest day...
...enroute to the summit of An Cliseam, the highest of the Hebridean summits.
Rocky landing on a small island at the western extremity of the Sound of Harris.
What a trip!
One of the best yet...more detailed posts on the individual trips to follow.

Thanks Ian - a fantastic trip for sure and our luck (good planning!) with the weather was almost too good to be true.
Cheers
