Stormy skies beyond The Stacks

While sorting out images for a long term project I'm trying to make some progress with, I came across these which I thought I'd share...
...taken at the end of an extremely cold trip around The Stacks - Anglesey - during the winter of 2010/11.
Dramatic skies looking out into the Irish Sea...
...which began to clear as we returned through Penrhyn Mawr...
...to enter Treaddur Bay with the last of the bitterly cold day's light.
Temperatures remained well below freezing that day - we had even moved the cars from Porth Dafarch, deciding to launch from Treaddur Bay because of the snow. While loading the boats another motorist lost control and came sliding, sideways, down the slight hill towards us...an exciting end to a beautiful day.

Thanks Ian - if only I could have got Brian - the boat on the left - in the other gap on the horizon then it would have been much more balanced...the land on the horizon is actually the Lleyn Peninsula by the way, not individual islands. Bardsey Island is the land just visible on the far right horizon.
Cheers
